Prior to the Indonesia Design District project, Wijaya Kusuma Contractors successfully completed the Central Market at Pantai Indah Kapuk in 2022 for Agung Sedayu Group. This significant development, designed as a semi-outdoor marketplace with a focus on sustainability, was completed as a crash program, highlighting our ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. The Central Market quickly became a vibrant commercial hub, contributing to the growth of the Pantai Indah Kapuk area and setting the stage for larger and more complex developments in the vicinity.
Building on the success of the Central Market, in 2023, we completed the Indonesia Design District at Pantai Indah Kapuk 2, a 40,000-square-meter building on a sprawling 120,000-square-meter land area. This project is not just a commercial space but also includes a creative marketplace, food and beverage pavilions, an art square and gallery, event spaces, green lawns, and a children’s playground. These features come together to create a dynamic environment for creativity, commerce, and leisure. Our work on both projects has earned us further opportunities with Agung Sedayu Group, including Taman Doa Our Lady Akita, the Seadoo project, and our ongoing work on the Airdome project, reinforcing our trusted partnership with one of Indonesia’s leading developers.
